Surprise!

Kaui's parents had a HUGE surprise in store for her. Over the past month, Kaui and her family have been communicating on the possibility of coming here for the Girls' birthday party. Realizing how expensive it is to travel, we knew it would be a long-shot. Kaui's niece, Teresa, REALLY wanted to come and visit and had been talking to Kaui's mom to go. Last week, they called telling me their surprise and if I could come pick them up from the airport. They found a great deal for Mom and Teresa to fly here for a week. So over the past week as Kaui has been working so hard on getting this party ready (borderline stressed), it was hard for me to keep my mouth shut and not say a word that "help is on the way" (I'm like a steel trap! It goes in, but never comes out!). On Tuesday mornings I usually wake up at 5am to workout. Kaui's mom, Teresa, and Baby Zaysha were set to arrive into O'Hare at 6am. So all I had to tell Kaui was that I was waking up early to go workout and that didn't seem out of the ordinary. So the timing was perfect! We got home and look who was waiting in the garage!

So needless to say, Kaui is THRILLED that they are here for the week. We're always so happy when family come, since we're so far from them. Thank you to Uncle John, Mom, and La'a for making this happen!

Back to Pregym...

Kaila & Kenna have started up their pregym classes. This is Kenna's first class & Kaila has now moved up to the 3-5 year old class. You could tell this was a whole new experience for Kenna because she did a lot more observing than participating, but would clap when she really liked something. Kaila's class will be a good challenge for her because it requires her to listen & follow directions the first time they are given. It is also more challenging physically.

Taking it all in...
Playing with the bean bags...
...and the hula hoop.
Trying to toss the bean bag...
Obstacle course...
How she thought the balance beam should be used...
Parachute time...

Having fun...

The Big 3-0 for Cisco: Happy Birthday!!

Yes, you read that right. Cisco just made the big 3-0 and he doesn't even look it one bit! He looks the same to me as he did when I first met him *blush*

His baseball cupcake-cake I made because I wanted to make him something special & had to practice my cupcake making for the girls' birthday party soon...
