Saturday was Morgan's 1st birthday, so we attended her "bee"utiful birthday party. We had a lot of fun spending time with Morgan & getting to meet Amy's family. We just can't believe that she is 1 already. When we moved here last year at the end of July, she hadn't even been born yet. How time flies...
Just a way to keep in touch with family & friends who are so very far away and who we miss dearly.

It's a...
GIRL!
We had our 20 week routine visit & ultrasound this past Wednesday and yes, it looks like Kaila will be having a SISTER! I am so excited for her because I never had a sister (only 3 older brothers) and always wanted one. Cisco will admit that he was a little saddened that there was nothing showing between the legs, but we are both very happy & excited to be expecting yet another blessing. All we really care about is that we have a happy, healthy baby. The doctor & ultrasound tech reassured us that everything looks good so far, which is such nice news to hear. Here are some pictures of our lil' baby girl:
She just might be quite the gymnast with her toes to her head :)
Camping in the Yard...
We decided to finally bring out our tent we got as a wedding gift 2 1/2 years ago from Mike & Erin. I was so proud of Cisco for pitching it because as we all know he is not much of a handyman or outdoorsman. But he did awesome and we all got to enjoy some time hanging out in the tent, even Sadie.
Babysitting Morgan...
We got to babysit Morgan a few weeks ago on Monday & this past Wednesday. We enjoy having her because it is so fun & neat to watch how her & Kaila interact. Kaila always wants to hug her as soon as she arrives and quickly loses interest until Morgan starts touching the toys she really cares about. We have to remind Kaila to share because she is at that "bossy toddler" stage where everything is "mine" or "no." But whenever Morgan starts to cry, which is rare, Kaila will bring her a toy to make her feel better. On Wednesday she brought her her fake McDonald fries. It is so cute to watch & gives us a preview of what to expect with the new baby. Here are some pictures of Kaila & Morgan...
Day before, day of, & day after Mike & Erin's Wedding...
Our best friends from Idaho, Mike & Erin, got married on Friday, July 31 and Cisco, Kaila, & I were very honored to be their Bestman, Flower Girl, & Matron of Honor for their special day. We had SO much fun being with them and our other friends & family in Idaho. Here are some pictures of the day before, day of, & day after the wedding:

Couples BBQ, Bachelorette Party, & more...
Since Cisco & I were one of two Bestmen & Matron/Maid of Honors, we hosted the Bachelor & Bachelorette parties for our best friends getting married, Mike & Erin. We started the day off with a Couples BBQ, since most of the invitees were couples. It was tons of fun!

Kaila Starts a New Sport
In addition to swimming, we enrolled Kaila into gymnastics. Her first class was last week, and we just finished her second class today. The class runs for about 30 minutes, and they do a lot of basic exercises and activities to help with body awareness and basic motor development. Compared to swimming, Kaila seems to enjoy gymnastics much more.
Got her Nike leotard on, hair pulled back, ready for some gymnastics!
Jumping over the "french fries."Here are two videos from her first class. Our friend, Mel Gilson, came along to help. Mel's not only a former gymnast, but she used to coach top-level gymnastics in Oregon and Michigan. So she was pretty excited for Kaila to start, and that she was able to come help.
