Playing with Morgan

Our Thursday night tradition, dinner with the Flewellings. Just a short video of Morgan and Kaila playing (and Sadie wanting in).

Taking Sadie for a Walk

Kaila loves to grab Sadie's collar and leash and try to put it on her. When we do, Kaila likes to take Sadie for a walk around the house.

New Stroller for Baby

Kaila rocking her new Idaho Vandal jersey, ready for their arrival here next September.
During the toddler pre-gym at the YMCA, Kaui has noticed over the past few weeks that Kaila really likes to push things around, like carts. So Kaui bought Kaila a small stroller to put her baby in.

Princess Couch and Random Pics

At Wal-Mart, we bought Kaila her own little princess couch. It folds into a small pull-out couch too. She loves playing with it, and she has a routine of grabbing the remote control before sitting in her couch (like Daddy). It has been very useful for everyone: Kaila sit, plays, and sometimes sleeps in it, Sadie will curl up in a ball and nap on it when Kaila's not using it, and sometimes Cisco will use it as a pillow when he takes a power-nap on the floor.

Some other new, random pictures:

Wanna Be a Balla, Shot Calla

Kaila has gained interest in playing basketball. We remember when we were still in Idaho and Kaila was small, her eyes were glued to Grandpa and Grandma's big TV when her Daddy watched basketball. Football and baseball not so much. Now, during the Toddler Gym class she takes at the YMCA, Kaui says she loves the part when she has to put the balls into the hoop.

She loves to play with balls: basketballs, baseballs, balloons, anything round. Cisco bought her one of those Nerf hoops you put on the door for her to play with. At first, she didn't play with it (Cisco and Sadie played with it mostly). But now, she's gaining interest.......KOBE!!!:

So we could have a "balla" in the making. As you can see, she's standing extremely well and is fully walking now. No more crawling. Her gait isn't perfect (she walks like a drunken lady at times), but it's fun watching her walk and try to run all over the house.

Today, Cisco took Kaila to a local sporting goods store. Kaila was talking the entire time they were in there. She was pointing to the footballs, basketballs, and baseballs yelling, "Baaaaaaaaaa." She wanted to touch the baseball gloves and bats. When they were looking at shoes, Kaila was talking the entire time and pointing to the shoes, as if her and her Dad were having a conversation about which cushioning system was better: Shox or Zoom Air? Of course, Kaila's behavior has Cisco very excited. He can't wait until she expresses more interest in sports, so he can buy her baseball gloves, bats, and of course, Nike shoes!
