Spending the New Year on Top of the World!!

First of all, Happy New Year to all! Our New Year day started off with a trip to Chicago to visit some sights. En route, we had to drop Shannon off at the airport. Her one-week visit with us came to an end. It was so nice to have her around and spend time with her, especially during the holidays. Since we were close to The City already, we decided to visit the Willis Tower. It worked out perfect for us! There was no wait in line, it wasn't very busy, and the sky was clear. When we left the Tower, there was a 2 hour wait to get to the top and clouds were rolling in. We loved our time with family on top of the world on New Years Day.

Yes, Kaila is posing in these next few pictures. We told her to stand next to the picture and say, "cheese." She then laid on the floor and posed. Posing seems to be her new thing. Hmmm......

Kaui (and Kenna) with Mom at the top.

Enjoying the view with Tutu
Looking out with Daddy
Replaced Cisco's head with Kaila's body
Pretty neat new attraction they have. They call it the SkyDeck. They have four glass box structures that jut out from the side of the building. Kind of freaky at first, but once you're on, it's fine. So here's a view from 1,300 feet in the air. Cisco's walking on air.

La'a when he first got on....he was a little scared.
Finally out on the deck
Free-falling!!!

Uncle John getting a picture of the view down
Weeeeeee..........
Kenna a daredevil at a young age
Kaila didn't want to have any part of it (obviously)

Saying goodbye

Afterwards, we took them across the street to have some of Giordano's famous Chicago-style pizza. The best pizza in the world! Kenna, again, enjoying the food.
Kaila had fun with Tutu during the meal
She had fun with Papa and La'a too

It was a good day, very cold, but a good day. We plan on going back in on Monday one last time to visit the Museum of Science and Industry. None of us have been there before, so we're all excited.
