Vandal Gameday!

Vandal Gameday in Kalamazoo! With Idaho's contract with the Mid American Conference, we had yet another opportunity to drive and watch the Mighty Vandals live. Last year they came to NIU, this year they played at Western Michigan. Unfortunately, this is the last year of the WAC/MAC games.

Waldo Stadium.
The Boys of Silver and Gold.

Offensive possession right in front of our seats.
Days like this gave us a deeper appreciation for the Kibbie Dome. Couldn't focus on the game because we were so concerned on keeping the girls dry and warm.
My dad was able to get sideline passes. We handed Kaila off to Grandpa. So she had an opportunity to watch the game on the field with her Grandpa. Even Mommy and Daddy didn't get a chance to go down there!

Kenna's first Idaho Vandal football game.....BBBRRRRRRRRR!
I-D-A-H-O, IDAHO IDAHO GO GO GO!
My dad got a shot of the ladies from the field.
As usual, it feels so good to be able to watch Idaho live and be around fellow Vandals. Had a chance to meet a few Idaho alums that live in the Illinois/Michigan area. There's a camaraderie between Vandals that's hard to explain. Even had a chance to visit with a good friend from back home, Matt Kleffner, who's the Associate Athletic Director at Idaho. He was working, but it was nice just to chit-chat with him for a minute or two. Nothing like being around fellow Vandals.

Idaho ended up winning, which is always icing on the cake. So far, the Vandals are 2-0 when the Reyes girls are in attendance.
