The second day, after my conference talks, we headed to Animal Kingdom. The last time I went to Disneyworld (13 years ago) Animal Kingdom wasn't even built yet. This was a nice park, but the girls were too young to see it all. We would have to take them out of the stroller to show them the animals, put them back into the stroller, walk to the next animal, take them out, repeat. So we just focused on the main attraction, the Safari, and the shows.
On the trolley, on our way to Animal Kingdom.
The Tree of Life
The girls were troopers when it came to dealing with the heat.

Lilo and Stitch. Again, Kaila didn't want to take pictures. She was fine waving to them.
One show we went to there was Lion King Festival. It was a very entertaining show.
The last show we went to was Finding Nemo. This was yet another great show.
On our way from the Lion King show to Finding Nemo, we got caught in a typical Florida thunderstorm. Thanks to our good friends Garrett and Lynn Yamada, they suggested we get a shower curtain to put over the stroller. We did such thing and the girls stayed dry during our walk. Although we had our ponchos on we got soaked, but the girls were fine. It wouldn't be a Disneyworld trip if we didn't walk through an afternoon thunderstorm.
