On Friday, Kenna made 7-months. Wow....7-months already. On the very day she turned 7-months, she began to crawl! It's still a slow crawl, but she's mobile now. For the past few days leading up to her 7-month mark, she would get into crawling position, but not have the strength (or she's just lazy) to hold the position and crawl. For a few days, she was doing a hybrid "army crawl/worm" move. Then on Friday, she got into crawling position, and crawled. Like her Ate, she uses both hands, one knee, but one foot to push off. So know she's slowly moving around all over the place. She's also learning how to play by herself more now. She'll just crawl over to the toys and sit there and play for a good 15-20 minutes. Sometimes she'll try and follow Kaila around, but Kaila's too fast. She's also learned how to pull herself up to a standing position, from a low-level, like from Kaila's stool. She loves to stand up against the couch and see what we're doing "up there." We think she sees Kaila walking around, so she wants to do that too!
